Last weeks selections failed quite miserably, only one of the four selections I recommended won. But I'm back again this week trying to pick out a winning football bet.

Banker Bet !

I've gone back to basics this weekend with 3 home wins. Firstly Fulham to overcome Wigan at Craven Cottage. Fulham have enjoyed great success playing at home over recent seasons and can replicate this trend with a home win, which can kick start their season. I haven't been overly impressed with Wigan so far this season, and there a team a can see struggling to win games, potentially fighting against relegation this season.

Next up Shrewsbury, who I saw scoring 3 late goal against Chesterfield last weekend despite losing the game 4-3. The Shrews have a good squad and will be more prominent up the league than most this season. Jake Robinson is a constant goal threat and scores most of his goals at home. Barnet are struggling and face no respite with a tough away assignment. I think the home side we will win fairly comfortably, reigniting a promotion push.

Finally, Wycombe to see of Lincoln at home. On recent form Wycombe are right up there, including a great 4-3 win away at fellow promotion hopefuls Rotherham last weekend. Sutton has gone, Tilson is in, but I can't see that changing there imminent fortunes. Wycombe can extend their recent great form with a solid home win against the Imps.

Fulham to beat Wigan @ 4/5
Shrewsbury to beat Barnet @ 8/13
Wycombe to beat Lincoln @ 8/15

A £5 bet returns £23!

1 Extra

Inspecting this weeks coupon numerous so called 'good things' jumped off the page. Middlesbrough, now armed with Tony Mowbraw should see off Bristol City at home. Both Cardiff and QPR can gain home wins at the expense of Norwich and Burnley respectively. Reading should see Doncaster off after a brilliant 4-0 demolition of Burnley last week.

The one additional selection I'm suggesting is my team, Chesterfield. We are playing some great football, scoring lots of goals, and have talented players in abundance. Full of confidence as league leaders, we will swoop aside newly promoted Stevenage on their own cabbage patch. At 8/5 it's the stand out value of the weekend for a table topping club.

Fulham to beat Wigan @ 4/5
Shrewsbury to beat Barnet @ 8/13
Wycombe to beat Lincoln @ 8/15
Chesterfield to beat Stevenage away @ 8/5

A £5 returns 57.96!!!
