Three favorites

DENVER (-10 1/2) at Kansas City
Denver looks to continue road success as they travel to Kansas City to play a team that is winless at home. Broncos QB Peyton Manning leads an offense that has put up the third-most points in the league this season, while the Chiefs have scored the fewest points. Denver will miss RB Willis McGahee, who is out of the regular season.

Buffalo at INDIANAPOLIS (-3)
The Colts have struggled as of late, but a home game against Buffalo should have them back on the right track. Indianapolis has played well at home, where they have won four of five contests. Buffalo has run the ball well this year, and must continue to do so in order to keep the Indianapolis offense on the sidelines. Colts QB Andrew Luck should find alot of success against a Bills defense that has surrendered the third most points this season. The return of RB Fred Jackson should be a big boost for the Bills.

PITTSBURGH (-1 1/2) at Cleveland
The Steelers will have their hands full with a young Browns team. Cleveland has benn in many of their games, but are still learning how to win. Cleveland has lost five games by seven or fewer points this year. Expect Pittsburgh to run the ball and keep the number of throws by third-string QB Charlie Batch to a minimum. Pittsburgh will concentrate on Browns RB Trent Rcihardson and dare Cleveland QB Brandon Weeden to throw the ball. WR Plaxico Burress returns to playing for Pittsburgh.

In the middle

Oakland at CINCINNATI (-8)
The Bengals look to move above the .500 mark against an Oakland team that has only won once on the road all season. The Raiders have given up a league leading 322 points. Oakland QB Carson Palmer makes his return to Cincinnati, where he played for seven seasons. Expect Bengals QB Andy Dalton to show why Palmer is not missed.

MINNESOTA (+6 1/2) at Chicago
Minnesota has not played good on the road, but the Bears look awful without QB Jay Cutler. The winner will be the team that can run the ball and not turn it over. This may apply to almost all games, but especially here. The biggest factor here is the Bears look awful without QB Jay Cutler.

Atlanta at TAMPA BAY (+1)
Tampa Bay has been on a roll, and Atlanta struggled last week after their first loss of the season. The Buccaneers have scored more points than the Falcons, but the difference so far has been the Atlanta defense. Tampa needs this more than Atlanta, and it will show in the game. Falcons QB Matt Ryan has struggled in previous games in Tampa.

Tennessee at JACKSONVILLE (+3 1/2)
Jacksonville has not won at home this year, but Tennessee has trouble stopping anyone. The Titans hae given up the second most points in the league. The Jaguars defense has not been much better. Jacksonville has played much better under QB Chad Henne.

Seattle at MIAMI (+3)
The Dolphins look to get end a three game losing streak against a Seattle team that has lost four of five on the road. Both teams have talented young quarterbacks but lack talented recievers. Which rookie QB will play the best will determine who takes home victory.

BALTIMORE (-1) at San Diego
After a fast start, San Diego has been very inconsistent. Baltimore has adjusted to playing without LB Ray Lewis. Baltimore will run the ball and try to take the home crowd out of the game, while putting pressure on Charger QB Philip Rivers. SanDiego must run the ball better and stay out of obvious passing situations.

St Louis at ARIZONA (-1 1/2)
The Rams will be without WR Danny Amendola and have not played welll without him in the lineup. The Cardinals are giving rookie QB Ryan Lindley out of San Diego State his first NFL career start, and will be helped by the return of RB Beanie Wells. This should be a battle of the defense, but special teams may decide this one.

Three that scare me

Carolina at PHILADELPHIA(+3)
The 'dog at home on Monday Night Football. If the Eagles can't win this one, they may not win again this year. Look for Philadelphia QB Nick Foles to step up and outplay Panther QB Cam Newton.

SAN FRANCISCO (-1) at New Orleans
The Saints are on of the hottest teams in the league, but the San Fracisco defense will present them with another tough challenge. Fresh off of their win over previously unbeaten Atlanta, New Orleans will face one of the top defenses in the league. Look for San Francisco to run the ball often with RB Frank Gore as they try to keep Saints QB Drew Brees off of the field. Getting pressure on Brees with four rushers will be key for the 49ers.

GREEN BAY (+3) at NY Giants
The Giants have struggled lately, while Green Bay has gotten over early season trouble. The Packers have won five in a row, while the Giants have lost two straight. Right now, Giants QB Eli Manning is struggling and Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is getting into playoff form. The Giants need to start winning before their season slips away.
