Short guide about customizing Poker tracker 3 HUD color ranges.

Customising PT HUD

The 1st thing i do after installing Poker Tracker into new computer is customizing the HUD. The default theme has a poor colors selection, which makes it hard to read when multitabling. This is a short step by step guide, how to make the PT3 HUD little better.

Open Poker Tracker, select Configure, Configure HUD

Open Poker Tracker, select Configure, Configure HUD

Highlight Player Stats, select Stats

Select the profile you want to edit, cash or tournament, you can also create new profile. Highlight Player Stats, select Stats,.

Customize your HUD

What i like to do is set color ranges for VP$IP, PFR, Total AFq. For example setting VP$IP color ranges, 0-20 red, 20-30 orange, 30-100 green. Player with VP$IP over 30 is a fish in full table hold em (sample size matter). So the more green i see the better, if table is full of red stat players, i am starting to look for a better table.

Custom HUD in action.

HUD has found a calling station. Stats like these are what i am looking for when selecting a good table.
