About my bet on the semi-finals of the 2010 World Cup.
Team Choice
So, I could not decide on which team to choose so I placed a bet on all four teams to win the game. I placed a five pound stake on two teams and a ten pound stake on the other two, thus leaving me with a thirty pound stake. I thought by doing this, my odds would be good, with at least one team winning each semi - but when I went back to claim it, I found that I only made one pound and thirty three pence back. I was dissapointed to say the least. Next time I will listen to the professionals and actually place a bet on only one of the teams... which hopefully, will be the winning team.
