Last week was somewhat disappointing, QPR drawing at home was the only selection to fail. Hopefully my selections will get the job done this week. I also have a challenger this weekend, Josh Hardy thinks he can pick out a winning bet, so I've given him an opportunity to prove me wrong.

Banker Double!

Burnley to beat Reading @ EVS
Sheffield Wednesday to beat Bournemouth @ EVS

I've gone back to two selections this week, but both represent good value. My first selection is Burnley to beat Reading at Turf Moor. Burnley have hit a patch of good form, comfortably seeing off Barnsley 3-0 at home on Tuesday. They should have won away at Sheffield United last weekend, but a dramatic injury time goal tied the game up at 3-3. I predict Burnley's good home form to continue and with pretty much the same squad as in the Premier League last season, they have plenty of quality to beat Reading.

My other selection is Sheffield Wednesday to beat Bournemouth at Hillsborough. Bournemouth may have started well after promotion from League 2 but Wednesday have won there last three league games and can make it four on the bounce. With players like Marcus Tudgay, Neil Mellor and Clinton Morrison, the Owls should have too much fire-power for the Cherries.

A £10 double pays £40.

Tasty Treble!

As I have a challenger this week (Josh Hardy) who has selected a treble, its only fair that I propose a treble as well.

Along with my selections in my Banker Double I am going to add Crewe to beat Aldershot at Gresty Road. Crewe are 2 points behind Aldershot, with both teams starting the season fairly well. Crewe are scoring lots of goals, inlcuding a 7-0 home win against Barnet, as well as a epic 5-5 draw away at table toppers Chesterfield. They pose a great attacking threat and can edge past Aldershot in a possibly high scoring affair.

Burnley to beat Reading @ EVS
Sheffield Wednesday to beat Bournemouth @ EVS
Crewe to beat Aldershot @ 5/4

A £5 treble pays £45.

Josh Hardy's Treble

Derby to beat Millwall @ 2/1
Southampton to beat Oldham @ 8/13
Chesterfield to beat Shrewsbury @ EVS

Josh has tipped Derby to continue their good form and beat Millwall at the New Den. He is also predicting home wins for Southampton and Chesterfield.

A £5 treble pays £48.46

Outsiders Chance!

After Tottenham's tough trip away at the San Siro on Wednesday, which they played most of the game with ten men, Spurs may be a little lacklustre this Saturday. Harry Redknapp's men take on Everton, who's results have begun to improve. I highly rate Everton, who have numerous quality players such as Cahill, Arteta, Pienaar and Jagielka. Teams historically tend to struggle after an away European match and I think at 3/1, Everton represent great value to pinch an away victory.

£5 on Everton to beat Tottenham @ 3/1 pays £20!
